The „Heimerer Schulen“ were founded in 1980 by Friedrich Heimerer in Landsberg am Lech. There are 10 locations, where you can find the "Heimerer Schulen".

More than 400 employed and freelanced teachers work at the “Heimerer Schulen” and support about 2600 students. You can get officially approved degrees in custodial and therapeutic profession as well as in commercial and IT-professions.

The courses can be visited during the week or in evening courses and weekend seminars. Highly educated specialists and professionals with practical and theoretical experience provide deep knowledge at the highest level.

Parallelly to the professional training our students have the possibility to prepare a bachelor or master program. We have partnerships with the Steinbeis foundation in Berlin as well as the high school in Utrecht/Netherlands. The close relationship between our professional training and the high school program provides further qualification and competitiveness to our students on the European labour market.

On the German labour market our training programmes enjoy a high level of acceptance.  At the end of their training almost 100% of our students find a job.  Thanks to the close relationship between theory and practice we are in a position to constantly adapt our programmes to the latest evolutions of the labour market; we perfectly understand the working processes in the different institutions and are able to provide valuable inputs to them. Our students are fully benefiting from this close cooperation. 

Further partners of us are:  Ministry of Education, Labour Agencies, European Social Funds, the Professional Integration Program from the German Army as well as various institutions for rehabilitation.

We actively communicate and provide insights in our work and results throughout regular conferences and symposia.

Of course we have implemented a Quality Management program and we are certified according to DIN-ISO-9001.

With around 150 employees Heimerer schools generate a yearly turnover of about 10 Mio Euro.
