Geriatric nurse
Geriatric nurses are responsible for the care, medical attendance and guidance of the elderly. The goal of this health care job is to maintain the physical, mental and psychological health of elderly people as long as possible. To nurse elderly people professional, you need an extensive knowledge in medical nursing. Geriatric nurses care for the elderly and assure a meaningful daily routine. They have a very responsible profession with future perspective: the life expectation increases, more and more older people need professional help. The chances of access are very good for young qualified people. Requirements are physical and psychological capacity, the ability to work independently and a big amount of empathy.

Ergotherapy is one of the most important curing methods for sick and disabled people. It applies in disabilities of the motor function, the sense organs and in the mental and psychological skills. Ergotherapists use technical and artistic activities to reactivate lost body and sense functions of their patients. The goal is always the improvement of the independency in the daily routine. The treatment fields are diverse as people of all ages with different disease patterns are treated. This medical profession requires an extensive knowledge, craftsmanship, creativity as well as good communication skills.

Youth/ Child care worker
Child care worker are qualified employees of social pedagogy. You take over the education and supervision of children and teenagers. So you guide them to self-experience, confidence, self-determination and self realization. It will be your job to enable, support and encourage education processes. Within your job you bear responsibility for the individual promotion of abilities and reduction of disadvantages. It is very important that child care workers orientate themselves by the living conditions of children, teenagers and families to develop appropriate activities. You take over business management and organising functions as well. You will work in day care centres, vacation homes and youth centres, Children’s Villages and boarding schools as well as in facilities of educational offers and in facilities for handicapped people. This profession requires sympathy for children and teenagers, self-assertion and empathy.

Occupational health nurse
Occupational health nurse is a modern profession with different tasks: competent nursing of the patients, assistance in medical examinations and operations, preparation and post processing of diagnosis and therapies, guidance of health-promoting behaviour, supervision of the general condition of the patients and initiation of Basic Life Support as well as execution of administration tasks, that are directly related to the nursing tasks and instruction and supervision of trainees and assistants. Occupational health nurses work in hospitals and different clinics, in sanatoriums, retirement homes, in ambulant nursing institutions and in private nursing. This profession requires lots of empathy, physical and psychological capacity as well as a good observation capacity.

Curative education nurses are qualified employees of social pedagogy in the support of disabled people. They accompany, encourage, educate and nurse disabled people. The curative education nurse activates existing abilities and establishes resources of people with learning, physical or mental disabilities of all ages. They offer them support in their development and education in all areas of life. This support uses games, sport and rhythm.

The medical data assistant is employed in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, medical offices, but also in medical-scientific institutes, the pharmaceutic industry, research institutes and software services. The training includes gathering, organizing, recording and analysing medical data. A broad knowledge about the workflow in hospitals, the functioning of health care, but also business-management aspects are required. The medical data assistant needs to be flexible and accurate with the different working habits in medicine, statistics and data handling. All medical records need to be treated with confidentiality, therefore reliability and absolute discretion are of paramount importance.

Physiotherapists
Physiotherapists carry out a multifunctional and challenging job and are well integrated in today’s health care system. Their task is to ensure the prevention and treatment for patients with physical and mental disabilities. Physiotherapists work quite independently, but also benefit from a close relationship with the physician. They decide about the therapy and provide instructions for physical home exercises. Physiotherapy mainly involves physical movements to support the healing processes and to correct posture. In the core there are active and passive techniques of movement and breathing therapy. Those are accompanied with massages, heat and cold treatments as well as water and electric treatments. This profession requires a good observation capacity, creativity as well as rhythm and body feeling.

Podiatrists
Podiatrists work in close relationship with physicians, physiotherapists and orthopaedic shoemakers. Podiatry is a field of medicine that strives to improve the overall health and well-being of patients by focusing on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation associated with the foot and ankle. By means of recognized hygienic rules podiatrists carry out independently curing methods whereas in case of specific disease medical advice is essential. Podiatrists mainly work in specialised podiatric centres as well as rehabilitation clinics and hospitals. Moreover, they operate in medical and physiotherapy clinics, for suppliers of medical and orthopaedic equipment, but also in beauty salons and health hotels such as well-being resorts. Podiatrists love dealing with people and are not afraid of physical contact.

On the financial side there are tough financial transactions as well as interrelations between, and the methods of working of, the individual companies.

Management Assistant in Advertising
This course offers how to coordinate agency partners in the development and execution of advertising creative as well as how to coordinate the creative process, including concept development, budget management, production timelines and the internal approval process and how to coordinate the production of all creative collateral. The Management Assistant in Advertising acts as liaison between advertising and other departments, including legal, licensing and the product development groups. He or she participates in the creative review process, supports the management of traffic schedules and assists in ad agency management and media planning. It is also required to develop strategic documents, to support the advertising manager and to make decisions and recommendations regarding advertising plans, advertising creative and production, and advertising agency management.
